About the Project

NextGen4Peace is a cross-border peacebuilding initiative that supports individuals and communities to build skills in dialogue, mediation, and conflict resolution. The NextGen4Peace project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), and runs from October 2025 to September 2029. It focuses on empowering young leaders from marginalised communities with the skills, networks, and support needed to address conflict, foster reconciliation, and contribute to sustainable peace within their communities and across the region.

Led by the Glencree Centre for Peace & Reconciliation and delivered in partnership with Mediation Northern Ireland (MNI) and associate partners, the project aims to strengthen relationships and promote constructive approaches to conflict across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland.
