Mediations/Facilitations: £50 per hour as agreed per case

Training: £250 per day as commissioned

The fees are inclusive of travel costs, and will include an agreed proportional payment for non-contact hours (for preparation, debrief, reports, admin, accreditation etc).

Essential Approach

1. Committed to the values-based approach of the NextGen4Peace project – consistent with the values of Glencree Centre for Peace & Reconciliation and Mediation Northern Ireland
2. Self-aware and able to take a nondirective/community development approach

Desirable Qualifications

1. Mediation Practitioner – Mediation Theory & Practice OCN level 3, or equivalent
2. Group & Systemic Mediation OCN level 4
3. Training or Facilitation qualification
4. Mentoring or Coaching qualification

Desirable Experience

1. Minimum two years’ experience facilitating groups in a community context
2. Minimum two years’ experience delivering training in a community context
3. Experience in successfully mediating cross-community conflicts within the NextGen4Peace project area (i.e. Northern Ireland and Border Counties).

Please outline below how you meet the criteria – we reserve the right to apply some or all of the desirable criteria if necessary within the recruitment process.

We need a pool of practitioners who might be used anywhere within the project area, working north and south of the border.  In addition we are looking for six practitioners who will consistently lead in a particular sector in order to build relationships within that area or theme.

Panel members will be selected for particular tasks within the project, based on a best match between the needs of participants and the team member profile.  We can not guarantee offers of work for Panel Members.
